Shuttle bus service temporarily resumes

Staff and the public can access the hospital from the Clarke St carpark using either the lift or the shuttle bus until the end of the month.

The decision to reschedule the bus service gives the company that built and installed the lift the opportunity to continue with a series of commissioning tests. The shuttle bus will be discontinued when the stairs in the structure open, which is expected to be by the end of August.

The shuttle bus will operate from 6.45am - 5.30pm each weekday.

Half the parks in the short-term parking area will be made available for disabled parking. The covered walkway that links these parks with the lift will also open at the end of the month. This walkway will also be used to transport air ambulance patients to the lift.
